Once upon a time, we started an exciting journey into the heart of Mediterranean food, long before we opened Otantik Café. Our trip took us to magical places and charming towns where we found hidden secrets and valuable discoveries.
Burning with curiosity, our team set out to find the true flavors of Mediterranean cooking. We explored busy markets and hidden spots, looking for the best local ingredients that told stories of sunny fields and generous crops. But we didn’t stop there.
We dived deeper into this food world, learning about old ways of cooking where time-tested methods met exact science. Every town was a new lesson, every meal taught us something new. We learned how to turn simple ingredients into amazing dishes from the wisdom of the past.
Our trip was not just about food. The bright colors of the Mediterranean stirred our creativity, growing stronger with every step. From the blue sea to the warm colors of old houses, we drew inspiration from the beauty of the region.
Full of new knowledge and ideas, we decided to create a place that would bring our guests to the heart of the Mediterranean. And so, Otantik Café was born, a place where the spirit of this wonderful region comes alive in a feast for all senses.
2017, Otantik Café is founded in 2017 and in 2018, the first branch, the Otantik 1 and considered as the flagship of Otantik Café is established and started serving the best ‘Authentic Mediterranean Cuisine’ in Al Zahiyah, the former Tourist Club Area in Abu Dhabi.
2020, two years after the first branch was open, Otantik Café’s second branch, the Otantik 2 is established in Khalidiya, Abu Dhabi.
2022 with the success and growth of Otantik TCA and Khalidiya, year 2022 was the ‘Turning Point’ of Otantik Café’s business expansion from Local to International brand. Otantik 3- Business Bay Avenue, Dubai and Otantik 4- Al Wadha were both launched from this year.
Following the launching of Otantik 3 and Otantik 4… Otantik Café’s very own ‘Centralized Facilities ‘The HUB’ was launched in Deerfields Mall, Abu Dhabi. Otantik 5 ‘The HUB’ serves as Otantik Café’s Central Production Facility, Central Kitchen and Warehouse Facility along with the Management’s Central Office.
2023: Within the span of 6 years in the Café and Restaurant Industry, Otantik Café already established 5 successful branches with UAE Region. Growth and expansion of the Brand doesn’t stop here. Otantik 6- Greenhouse is established at one of Abu Dhabi’s another future iconic destination, ‘The Al Rahba Greenhouse Project”
2023 will be Otantik Café’s year to launch the brand Internationally… the Otantik ‘lucky’ 7 is currently an on going project and soon to rise in ‘Monacco”!
